簡單式：現在、過去、未來

現在簡單式：S + V

◎主詞若為第三人稱單數，須在動詞後面加上s或es。

用於描述「現在的事實」。

   Joy likes English.

2.      用於描述「現在的習慣」，常搭配頻率副詞（always, usually, often, sometimes, never…）。

   Steven always gets up early.

              現在的習慣

用於描述「不變的真理或格言」。

The earth moves around the sun.

     不變的真理

Knowledge is power.

過去簡單式：S + V-ed

用於描述「過去的動作或事實」，常搭配過去的時間副詞（yesterday, last week, three years ago…）。

Tina bought a new dress last week.

           過去的動作

Helen moved to France three years ago.

              過去的事實

未來簡單式：S + will/

be going to + VR

用於描述「未來將要發生的事情」，常搭配未來的時間副詞（tomorrow, next month, in five minutes…）。

Jason will leave Taipei next month.

               未來將要發生的事情

I am going to visit my grandpa tomorrow.
